Honksbot is a plugin for half-life servers, that is capable of broadcasting in-game events to irc channels. Unfortunately it was never very stable (i suppose i had threading problems which I didnt know about, when i wrote it) nor very popular by server hosts (honksbot creates new threads). Debugging was almost impossible as well, after all most of the bots ran on remote systems without direct access.
Nevertheless Honksbot was pretty popular. We even had some Sourceforge project set up. Here is the link to the download area.
